授業のねらい

This course aims to give students the confidence and skills to discuss topics in English with people from overseas.

履修者が到達すべき目標

By the end of the course students will:

1. Have a greater awareness of global affairs and be more familiar with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

2. Be able to gather and share information in English and discuss their ideas and opinions in English.

3. Be aware of different ways to communicate effectively with different kinds of people.

4. Be able to prepare to attend, present or assist in English at an international conference.

授業の進め方
学修上の助言

1. Classes will begin with at least 10 minutes of free English conversation for fluency practice.

2. Students will discuss a different UN Sustainable Development Goal in English each week.

3. Students will follow up the discussion by summarizing and sharing their own personal opinion online.
