授業の進め方 学修上の助言
|
|
【授業の進め方】 There are seven parts in this semester. You will use your existing and new knowledge in some communication activities during the course. You will prepare and present your main course project at the end of the course. This class will be conducted in English. 【学習上の助言】 You will need a file to keep all your materials; you will be responsible for keeping your file updated. If you miss a class, you have to email the teacher and ask a classmate or the teacher for that class’ content.

|
Classes involve groupwork (from small groups to whole-class activities) and individual work. Several sessions also include peer review, problem solving, game-based learning, and problems using authentic information. There will be some presentations, group discussion, and other learner-centred activities.

ICTを活用した双方向型授業の有無
|
|
Students will use their cellphones for a variety of tasks, such as translation, taking pictures, making movies, and answering to online quizzes. Resources, such as quizzes, questionnaires and worksheets, will also be available online (Moodle). Students will sometimes use computers for research and for preparing materials, such as slideshows.

|
|
I lived, studied, and worked in Brazil and New Zealand before coming to Japan. I taught ESL (English as a second language) and leading activities for students of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2009/2010. I’m qualified as a teacher of English as a foreign language and have over 10 years of experience in teaching using the communicative approach.
